Storms are expected to move through Eastern Iowa on Monday, but there are still plenty of ways to stay active, creative, and connected around the Cedar Rapids area. Wellness events lead the day with yoga, meditation, sound healing, Tai Chi, and even llama yoga, while libraries across the corridor host toddler story times, career workshops, computer training, and teen leadership opportunities. Creative workshops include macramé, needle felting, resin art, and writing discussions, alongside community book clubs and social gatherings. Monday also features bingo nights, community fundraisers, and the Women’s United Luncheon at Kirkwood, making for a full day of wellness, learning, creativity, and community connection despite the rainy forecast.
